{"id":26445,"date":"2020-07-15T18:02:06","date_gmt":"2020-07-15T16:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preprod.i4ce.org\/team\/louise-kessler-phd\/"},"modified":"2024-09-24T16:27:01","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T14:27:01","slug":"louise-kessler-phd","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/www.i4ce.org\/en\/team\/louise-kessler-phd\/","title":{"rendered":"Louise KESSLER, PhD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Louise joined <strong>I<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span>CE<\/strong> in 2020; she oversees applied research work with aims to contribute to the debate on the economic instruments and public policies which can be mobilized to trigger the necessary investments\u00a0 for the low-carbon transition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before joining <strong>I<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span>CE<\/strong>, Louise spent two and a half years at the economics consultancy Vivid Economics, where she managed projects for government institutions and international organizations on issues related to climate policies, the energy transition, innovative financing mechanisms for adaptation and biodiversity. Before that, she spent a couple of years in the Natural Resources Mergers &amp; Acquisitions team at Macquarie in London, and in the Investments team at CDC Climat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Louise is a graduate of HEC Paris; she also holds a Research Master in Economics of Sustainable Development, Environment and Energy (EDDEE) delivered by Mines ParisTech, and a PhD in Environmental Economics delivered by the London School of Economics (LSE).
