{"id":6004,"date":"2015-08-01T15:15:09","date_gmt":"2015-08-01T13:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preprod.i4ce.org\/team\/romain-hubert\/"},"modified":"2026-01-28T16:01:50","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T15:01:50","slug":"romain-hubert","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/www.i4ce.org\/en\/team\/romain-hubert\/","title":{"rendered":"Romain HUBERT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Romain has been working since 2024 on the increased mobilisation of private actors \u2013 particularly financial institutions \u2013 for the adaptation to the local impacts of climate change, as part of the Local Authorities and Adaptation Programme.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He is thus extending his expertise in mobilising the financial sector (practitioners, regulators and supervisors) for climate action, built up at <strong>I<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span>CE<\/strong> since 2013, participating in European research projects such as ClimInvest and Finance ClimAct and in contact with key players.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These projects led him to work on: models for analysing climate-related financial risks; approaches and tools for integrating these risks into the strategies of companies and financial institutions, and into the banking prudential framework (scenario analysis, decision-making under deep uncertainty, etc.); sustainability reporting (French 29 LEC article, CSRD, EU Taxonomy of Sustainable Activities); corporate sustainability due diligence (CSDDD); etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before joining <strong>I<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span>CE<\/strong> in 2013, he started his career in the United States and then in France in a consulting firm on sustainability issues. He is an agricultural engineer graduated from AgroParisTech (specialising in \u2018Business Management, Innovation and Performance\u2019).
