Finance, Investment & Climate
The work of the “Finance, Investment and Climate” program focuses on the ‘mainstreaming’ or integration of climate change into the investment and financial decision making. Transversal issues are addressed, including the role of public financial institutions; the environmental integrity and financial additionality of instruments and products; climate-related risks perception by financial actors; international and national climate-related financial flows; and the alignment of development finance and long-term climate change objectives. These issues are analyzed within domestic and international contexts to better understand the impact and interactions between public and private resources for financing the transition to a low-carbon, resilient economic model.
